We are committed to gender equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility. As women with lived experience of disability, we know firsthand the importance of representation, in all areas of life.

We remain actively involved in supporting community groups who empower women and girls, especially LGBTQIA+; disability; survivors of domestic, family, sexual violence; and veterans and their families.

We deliver workshops in Empowered Leadership; Team Building; Financial Literacy; Emotional Resilience; Collaborative Communication; Optimal Goal Setting; Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility. Suitable for government organisations, corporations, not-for-profits and charities. 

We deliver training locally, nationally and internationally. We customise our training to suit your available space whether lecture hall, theatre, training room or staff room. We also provide online training. Our standard sessions are 45 mins, 90 mins, 3 hrs or 6 hrs, however all training can be customised.

We understand the power of the written word and we are here to help you present your writing in the best possible light.

Our professional mentoring and tutoring services are specifically catered to meet the diverse learning needs, interests and circumstances of our clients.

We are passionate about teaching empowerment skills and watching our clients develop and succeed as lifelong learners. We pride ourselves on our ability to build rapport, foster dynamic relationships and ensure a positive client experience.

We teach organisations and individuals how to become better leaders, recognise and develop their strengths, negotiate more confidently, resolve conflicts effectively, find win/win solutions (that others have deemed "impossible") and create innovative, healthy and harmonious workplaces. 

We offer advocacy, information and referral services for clients. We value lived experience, agency, safety and freedom from ALL forms of discrimination, harassment & bullying.

We understand the daily challenge of living with disability and recovering from trauma. We appreciate the direct impact this can have on physical and mental health, relationships, study, career and finances.

In our role as advocates, many clients have trusted us to support them in their time of need. While we always do everything we can to help our clients, often the best most practical assistance we can give, is to refer to support services who specialise in providing trauma care. 

We support numerous community education and health promotion initiatives each year. 

Our projects range in size and scope and are facilitated across multiple locations including Cairns and wider QLD, VIC, NSW & ACT.

Our projects include:

• mental health awareness 
• suicide intervention training
• fundraising drives to support local and internationally disadvantaged women and children
• advocacy for women living with disabilities 
• outreach for women living in rural, regional and remote parts of Australia
• our LGBTQIA+ community
• survivors of sexual, family and domestic violence
• Australian Veterans and their families

In 2020-21, we were delighted to:

Provide 260 sanitary pads to Ruth's Women's Shelter. At the start of the pandemic we were advised women felt more comfortable using pads and there was short supply. We provided some educational art supplies for children visiting the centre.

Write successful grant applications for two community organisations securing $20,000 in funding. A $10,000 tourism sporting grant to host a national championship and a $10,000 mental health grant to support veterans living with PTSD.

Send books, reading resources and learning materials to children living in rural Australia whose families were directly impacted by bushfires, drought and mental health.

Contact Ministers of Parliament and sign numerous local, state, federal, international petitions advocating for social justice, human rights, government transparency and accountability.

In 2022, we are continuing to collect any old and unused mobile phones to send to DV Safe Phones. This incredible team wipes, repairs, restores and provides working phones to women in need who have experienced domestic and family violence.   

If you work in retail and collect or recycle mobiles, we encourage you to consider supporting DV Safe Phones. A remarkable, innovative company helping women and children feel safe. Such a pragmatic solution which can, and indeed does, save lives!

Throughout the year, we also collect sanitary and maternity supplies for vulnerable women and girls. We welcome donations of new, sealed hygiene items such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, pads, tampons, continence pads, nursing pads, body lotion, sunscreen, etc.
